The projects listed here are mostly old; they're not indicative of my current skills. I'm working on building bigger, more robust full-stack applications, so stay tuned!
I am a huge fan of reactive programming. This quick StackBlitz demonstrates some RxJS basics -- watching input change events and triggering the update of data on a table. It also uses form validation and Angular Material.
The first site I ever made with Gatsby, and one of the first sites I ever made period. Features large hero headers (hence the name), a grid for displaying blog posts, and a beautiful UI.
The first group project I was involved in. This is an app for training/studying based on the idea of spaced repetition. I designed the database and wrote much of the backend code.
I'm Drew, a software developer with a passion for efficiency, problem solving, and elegant user interfaces. By day, I work on an Angular-based component library for an audio/video technology company. By night, I'm probably out running, doing yoga, cooking a vegan dinner, or cozying up with a good book. My past work experiences include working on an application that monitors and optimizes the performance of CNC machines, and serving as a teaching assistant + mentor to a group of full-stack JavaScript students.
Nothing brings me joy like coding does. My current outside-of-work project is a full-stack meal prep application created with Angular. This application will give users the ability to not only track calorie consumption, but to also plan out their meals in advance, generate grocery lists, research and store recipes, and more.
